James Fenimore Cooper
He was born in 1789 in New Jersey, grew up in Cooperstown New York which was founded by his father. He was expelled from Yale because of a prank. Then he signed into the Navy and travel throughout the sea. In 1911 got married with Susan Delancey (her predecessors governed some colonies). He expended 7 years as consul in Lyon, France. He wrote 34 novels, several political satire, romance, essays, articles, etc. Part of his work: 1st Precaution (1820) imitated Jane Austen (British ironic author) was the result of a bad book read by her wife 2nd Spy (1821) influenced by Sir Walter Scott (Scottish, *Ivanhoe)
